Points that we need to cover:

passive receipt of content, and why it is good
channels and subscriptions
channel ownership
recommendations
intended uses and benefits
- distribution of new content, or newly discovered content
- zero-day distribution
- preventing the slashdot effect
- as an unlimited-bandwidth augmentation to a blog
existing p2p file sharing systems do not work well for these scenarios
